‘Modi government’s priority is the small people of the country…’, Sanjay Singh’s reaction on the budget

Budget 2024 News: Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh has given his reaction on the budget. He said that the public has voted for the third time Narendra Modi The government was formed, but the public got nothing in this budget. The government has reduced the budget in all important departments. Every section of the government is disappointed with this budget. People were expecting the closure of Agniveer Yojana, doubling of MSP for farmers, relief to traders and reduction in inflation, but no one got anything.

Sanjay Singh said that in this budget, the Modi government has cut the budget of all those sectors which could have provided relief to the people. The priority of the government is not the common people but the corporate houses and that is why their tax has not been increased. The priority of the Modi government is to suppress the small people of the country under tax. Tax has been increased on long term and short term gains.

The AAP MP further said that the Modi government is making fun of the youth of the country. In the internship program that the Modi government has come up with, the youth are being paid less than the minimum wage in Delhi. The minimum wage in Delhi is Rs 17,380 and under the internship program, the youth will get only Rs 5000. The government will not have any share in this either.
